Selene is a cafe and confectionary that adds just a bit more sweetness and a bit more whimsy to the world. With its ever-changing daily dessert menu, customers are encouraged to sit back, relax, have their cake, and eat it too.

The design of the restaurant was inspired by 1930’s tea rooms. These restaurants were small, intimate spaces in homes founded and run solely by women. The color palette is inspired both by jadeite, a popular dish-ware from the time as well as my great grandmother’s famous recipe, strawberry cake.
